How the classes are structured

Every class starts with a light warmup. You learn how to move, roll and fall properly to avoid injuries. In addition there are also warmup drills where you learn essential movement skills for BJJ.

After the warmup you learn techniques from a basic position. The focus is on effective techniques that are easy to learn.

At the end of the class you can put what you learned to the test during positional sparring, where you start the round from the position that you just learned.

What you will learn

After the basic course you should be familiar with all the common positions and know techniques that you can apply against a resisting opponent. At this point you are ready to move on to our BJJ fundamental classes where you will learn everything from our white to blue belt curriculum.

You can also participate in our fundamentals classes, even if you are completely new to the sport. We do recommend completing the basic course before joining the fundamentals classes regularly if that is possible with your training schedule.
